(Under construction)
It is only when I got curious about rockery garden plants that I realized that this is a diverse and interesting group of ornamental plants.

Silene coronaria

This is a very common perennial around here. It self-sows quite a bit. It has nice silvery foliage, but the flower colour is a little bright and difficult to use with other perennials (although I can easily overpower it with my conifers). I use primarily as a filler.

Silene davidii

This is a very interesting rockery plant.

Silene regia

I sowed these from seeds for use in my ‘Burning River’.
