This delicate beauty is noted for keeping its creamy pink colour into summer. However, many collectors have tried repeatedly and failed to keep one surviving more than 3-5 years. I fully expect to lose mine, but I still have to try it at least once. My first one survived 4 years through one of the worst winter and drought, and yet it was killed by a fungus disease after an abnormally wet spring. I am on my second one.
