(Under construction)
Larix laricina (common name tamarack) is native to my area, but I don’t have any native species planted in my garden. I should.

Larix laricina ‘Blue Sparkler’

It is supposed to be a blue foliage dwarf (RHS Encyclopedia of Conifers indicates the 10 years height as 1 m), but my plant has exceeded that in 4 years from a 3 gal stock. It is a highly ornamental pale blue foliage conifer.
