Juniperus procumbens (common name Japanese juniper) is native to Japan.
Juniperus procumbens ‘Nana’
Even though this is a very common and over used juniper around here, I still consider it highly ornamental. It forms a very attractive and neat groundcover especially when cascading down some rocks or slopes. I used it mostly as a neat filler. It is very easy to propagate from cuttings. I have many spread around the garden.
