(Revised 17 Dec 2013)
Chamaecyparis obtusa (common name Hinoki Cypress) is one of the most ornamental conifers with its dark green (or golden or variegated) fan-shaped sprays of foliage. Since I am not a ‘conifer collector’ (because I am going for looks more than for rarity), practically all Chamaecyparis obtusa are ornamental to me, even though many of the cultivars are not particularly distinct from each other.
It is not practical to describe all my Chamaecyparis obtusa in a single page. Therefore, I have organized them into sub-pages. You can visit them via the menu list in the right sidebar.
