Ever since the first package of viola seed that was sown in my garden more than 20 years ago, I have decided that my garden must have viola. At one time, they almost naturalized in part of my garden, but they eventually completely disappeared. The newer and much more expensive seeds I bought in recent years do not have as much vigor, and hard to keep them going by self-sowing.
