Disporum

This is an interesting small family of plants. I acquired a couple of them from Lost Horizon a few years ago just for experimentation. It has an interesting structure similar to Solomon’s Seal, but a bit more ‘dramatic’.
Disporum flavens
This has interesting light yellow flowers. The root system appeared quite vigourous. I moved it to next to a big spruce thinking that its root system will be vigorous enough to struggle with that of the spruce, and make use of the shady spot too.

Disporum hookeri
I have Disporum hookeri the same time I acquired Disporum flavens. At the moment, it is not too happy with me, having stuck in some unseen corner, and no picture was ever taken for it.
