Acer pal. ‘Lionheart’

The only upright form of cutleaf maple is Acer palmatum ‘Seiryu’. My understanding is ‘Lionheart’ is reputed to be an approximate red leaf equivalent, but not quite. I have this plant from one gal stock for about three years, and it is still a tiny plant. The foliage is not nearly as lacy as ‘Seiryu’.
