Acer jap. ‘Ruby’

This is a new acquisition in 2009. I acquired it primarily for its fall colour (not sure how reliable), but I may grow to like its spring and summer looks as well. It will likely mature to less than 2.5 m in my area. There is an excellentthreadin the UBC forum on its growth characteristics and origin etc.
