Pinus

The common name is pine. The beauty of pine in contrast with spruce, is in its non-symmetric and often artistic/majestic structures as seen in many bonsai or rocky areas around lakes and on the mountains. In the garden, it is quite impossible to achieve these majestic look within a gardener’s life time unless your gardens happen to have mature specimen that come with your property (or you can afford to purchase and move a mature specimen of the more dwarf varieties).
